Ruscus
A genus of six species of flowering plants, native to western and southern Europe. Ruscus is commonly used in flower arrangements, mostly for events and weddings, that’s why deep-green leaves in Israeli Ruscus are very attractive.
Commercial Facts:
- Ruscus price is relatively stable and is mainly impacted by year end shortage in supply (resulting price increase of up to x3 during Oct-Dec) and by the stems length
- Israel is a global Ruscus market leader with 95-98% share

Wax flower
Wax Flower is a beautifully strong genus of shrub from Western Australia. It braves frost and drought, and has little pest and overall issues, that’s why it’s so popular among those who want low maintenance and striking beauty. In Israel, more than 20 different varieties are grown, differ in the shape of the branch, the color of the flower and the size of the flower. The varieties match their color to the bouquets to which they are added And even tailored to the needs of the buyers according to seasons and holidays The company grows 8 different varieties and focuses on selling them mainly for export

- GFL current Wax fields are 10 Acres with plans to grow to 40 Acres
- GFL partnerships and collaborations enable leverage of existing sales channels to increase sales without further investments
Vanilla
The gem in kitchens around the world. Vanilla is the second most expensive spice, used from recipes to aromatherapy, passing through cosmetics, the orchid from the genus Vanilla is a must

- Global organic Vanilla market size: ~500-800 M USD, 2020-2026 CAGR: 5%
- Madagascar market share leaders with 41.0%, followed by Indonesia with 29.8%
- Extremely hard to produce and is highly sensitive to weather changes: in 2017 Madagascar bean crop was almost entirely wiped out due to extreme weather conditions
- Significant increase in demand across all commercial uses
- Price per kilogram of beans has been averaging between $500-700 per Kilo in the past 5 years and it doesn’t appear to be going down anytime soon.
